Come see the depths of the Cité de la Mer, which houses a part of the former transatlantic train station (through which European immigrants passed on their way to the United States) and is dedicated to the human aventures beneath the sea.  Visit the nuclear submarine called Le Redoubtable (“the tough one”) as well as the aquarium.  Also new in 2004 are the smaller water tanks holding a variety of species, each of which can be touched and petted by young kids!
