Sailing camps
The school of sailing of Cherbourg-Octeville will be offering training camps in sailing for children as early as age 6.

Specific courses upon reservation. Boats for rent each day from 10 AM to 5 pm, according to the terms of access. Reductions for trainees from one family (mother, father, brother and sister) are given, following the registration of the second person or of the second training session.

Discover the region in the water !!!

This summer get involved with the Station Nautique of the Cherbourg-Hague region ! You can discover the Anglo-Norman islands aboard a yacht or on an old sailing ship, or go surfing, rowing, sailing, windsurfing, water-skiing, kayaking, diving, sand-yachting… There are also guided walks, gliding, cross-country biking.

The Station Nautique of the Cherbourg-Hague area works with your requests and organises maiden voyages, rentals, training courses, and tournaments for the family or between

friends…

Horse riding world cup
In August.
Place : At Martinvast.
An international event with 300 horses and riders.

Cycle rally
In July.
Place : Quai Alexandre III facing the Banque de France.

Open to any amateurs of the bicycle, a cycle rally is organised by the ASC (Association Sportive Cherbourg) that will bring together 80 cyclists.

You can watch the cyclists at their best as they pass by the quai Alexandre III, the pont tournant, the quai de l’Entrepôt and the gare routière (located across the street from the train station).
