Before heading back to the port, let's go and stroll along the alleys, let's discover the De Gaulle Square and the Theater, which is a real miniature Garnier Palace.
You should also visit the Trinity Church, The Thomas Henry Fine Art Museum, which still has a wonderful gallery made of Jean-François Millet's portraits or the Ethnographic Museum.
And to finish with, do not miss the parks and gardens of the town (e.g. the Liais Park, the Public Garden and the Ravalet Park) in which many rare fragrances could be smelt.
At last, if you have time, go and climb the "Roule Mountain". From the fort's parapet (now turned into Liberation Museum) there is a magnificent view over the Marina and its forts, over the ancient transatlantic ferry terminal and over the port docks.
