The Montebello Botanical Gardens The botanical gardens on the Rue de Montebello were opened in 1872 and owe their existence to the work of the horticultural society founded in 1884.
Originally reserved for its members, the gardens are now open to the general public. The layout, the various exotic plants found there and the small brick chalet with visible beams make it a perfect example of the 19th century style.
